Separation process: Air loaded with fluid droplets streams through the wire mesh package, the droplets for reason of their inertia collide onto the wire surface, are collected at the wire mesh knots and fall down as big drops. The separation performance depends essentially on the gap volume and the specific wire surface of the wire mesh as well as on the streaming speed.
For our highly effective separators, we use various materials and material combinations to meet the requirements of our customers.
The pressure loss is small and the degree of separation reaches up to 99.9 %.
Our separators work on the base of 3 mechanisms: inertia separation, separation by blocking effect and diffusion separation.
